The Medical Records Department is a service unit.  A well organized Medical Records Department is vital for proper Health Care, Medical Education, Clinical Research and follow-up of treatment.

Recognizing this great need, the Church of South India Hospital, Bangalore offers a course to equip the candidates in obtaining a Diploma in Medical Records Technology under the Government of Karnataka Paramedical Board.

Eligibility for Admission:

1. Pass in II P.U.C. or equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks in optional subjects under Science, Arts, Commerce faculty or in Computer Science; 35% minimum marks in the case of SC / ST candidates.

2. The candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st of July.  Maximum age 35 years except 40 years for SC / ST or in service candidates.

The duration of the course is two years beginning from 1st August of each year.
