The Medical Laboratory is one cornerstone of Modern Medicine. Clinical Laboratory Tests are a key element in most diagnostic procedures. The general data submitted by the Laboratory for diagnosis is provided by the laboratory technician. The Church of South India Hospital, Bangalore trains candidates for a 2-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology under the Government of Karnataka Paramedical Board.

Eligibility for Admission:
- Pass in PUC IInd year or equivalent examination with minimum of 40% marks in optional subjects under Science faculty such as PCB, PCMB or PCBZ. Minimum 35% marks in the case of SC/ST students.
- Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st of July. Maximum age is 35 yrs except 40 years for SC / ST or in-service candidates.
COURSE CONTENTS:
Total duration of course is: 2 years beginning from 1st August each year.
