The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is active in treating both trauma and acute and chronic diseases of the Musculo-skeletal systems. Experienced Orthopaedic Surgeins are available around the clock for out patient and emergency services. A trauma centre is fully functinal assisted by General Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Vascular Surgeons & Intensivists.

There is a state of the art Operating Theatre with Laminar airflow, C Arm and Operating Microscope

Routine surgeries for limbs, spine, joints etc are done like:

• Joint replacements for hip and knee
• DHS for hip
• Laminectomies for spine
• Interlocking screw fixation of long bones
• Arthroscopic surgeries for spine and joints
