Department of Obstetrics & Gyanecology -  An interesting case presentation

A 55 year old Narayanamma, postmenopausal since 18 years came to CSI Hospital, Bangalore with the complaint of mass per abdomen for the past 5 to 6 years which had increased in size since one year causing difficulty in doing day-to-day work.

Ultrasound Scan showed a large cystic space occupying lesion.  Abdomen was opened up on 29.4.04 and a 14 kg left Ovarian Cyst/Tumor was removed. This sized tumor is a rare occurrence.

The patient is a poor lady who came from the Milk Co-operative Society, Rayapanahalli, Doddaballapur, Bangalore Rural, to CSI hospital, Bangalore, for her operation and her expenses will be covered under the Yeshesvini Scheme.

The Surgery was conducted by Dr. Arulmozhi Ramarajan, Dr. Swetha Arasu, and Dr. Teena Thomas.  Assisted by Dr. Prakash Mehta and Dr. Sameer.

Internal Telephone System

The Internal Telephone System has been completely rewired and old connectors were replaced with MDF (Main Distribution Frames).  We have also reorganized the telephone numbering for the convenience of our own staff.  The defects in the system, because of the very old wiring system, has largely been eliminated.  This was a long felt need.

A PRAYER FOR PENTECOST

Come Holy Spirit, we need Thee, come sweet Spirit, we pray,

Come with Thy strength and Thy power, come in Thine own gentle way.

Come like a spring in the desert, come to the sick weary soul,

O, let Thy sweet healing power, touch us and make us whole.
