Quiz Format
The quiz will have two rounds, both on the same day.
The Preliminary Round: The Preliminary Round will be a written test. It will be in the
form of multiple-choice questions, 40 in number to be answered in 60 minutes. The
questions will be projected as a Power Point presentation, appearing sequentially, each
question being projected for exactly 60 seconds and repeated again in the same
sequence for another 30 seconds each. The teams will write the answers on the answer
sheet provided to them. There will be no negative marking. After the completion of the
written round, the papers will be evaluated and the top 8 teams will enter the final
round.
The Final Round: This will be in traditional quiz format with different rounds. It is to
be noted that the finalists will be selected solely on the basis of merit and thus, there
may be more than one team from the same school/college represented in the final
rounds. However, a maximum of two teams per college will only be allowed into the
finals.
The Audience Rounds: There will be intermittent rounds for the audience and the
winners will receive special prizes.
