Community Health Programmes

The Community Health Programme of the hospital is based at a center about 40 kilometers from the hospital at a village called Muthsandra at Tumkur District. Five villages are covered under this programme. The medical and the paramedical team from the hospital conducts maternity and child health, immunization, door to door survey, health education and regular medical camps. Qualified tutors and student nurses are posted at the center to fulfill their academic requirements.
· The hospital also runs an urban welfare project in Bangalore close to the base hospital as part of the local Governments Family Health Programme.
