Where the mind
is without fear and
the head is
held high; Where knowledge is free;
Where the world
has not been broken up
into fragments
by narrow domestic walls,
Where words
come out from
the depth of
truth;
Where tireless
striving stretches
its arms
towards perfection;
Where the clear
stream of reason has not
lost its way into the dreary desert sand
of
dead habit; Where the mind is led forward
by thee into
ever-widening thought and action
Into that
Heaven of freedom,
my Father, let
my country awake.
- Rabindranath
Tagore

A young man came running to Jesus and reverently asked Him “ What must I do to receive eternal life?” And Jesus replied “You need only one thing.” “Go sell and give everything and follow me.” Mark 10:17-22. This command from Jesus made him very sad as he did not want to give anything to others. For him it was an impossible task. How many of us are like this young man? We put more importance on earthly possessions. “A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump; a God shaped life is a flourishing tree.” Proverbs 11: 28.
We have a lot of positive and negative things in our lives. We need to prioritize them. We have to take the best from them to be of benefit to all.
Golden Verse For You: “The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honour and life.” Prov. 22:4
Question: Are you confused about your priorities?
Bible Reading: Matthew 6:33 & 16:26; 1Timothy 6: 6-10.

You are who you are for a reason.
You’re part of an intricate plan.
You’re a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God’s special woman or man.
You look like you for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You are just what He wanted to make.
The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom designed with God’s plan in mind,
And they bear the master’s seal.
No, the trauma you face was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you’d grow.
You are who you are for a reason,
You been formed by the master’s rod.
You are who you are beloved,
Because there is a God.
